There are a lot of myths and beliefs about abundance and prosperity. Today, the myths I’m going to be talking about are closer to home. They are about you and what you think are true for you. Who wants to be labeled selfish? The rich are selfish. Are others more deserving of abundance than you?

The myths I’m going to be talking about are about you and what you think are true for you today.

There are a lot of myths and beliefs about abundance and prosperity.

Most people know the common ones, such as: Money is the root of all evil. Money doesn’t grow on trees. The rich keep getting rich and the poor keep getting poorer.

As we grow up, we now have this belief that we have to share everything including money or we will be selfish.

Do you have a general feeling that there isn’t enough time, not enough money, health or other areas of importance to you?

It is helpful to recognize these beliefs and know when they are serving you and when they aren’t. 

Are others more deserving of abundance than you?

Beliefs have formed in us innocently, for very good reasons. Although they feel intensely personal, most beliefs are not truly “ours”.

When we slow down enough to listen we practice getting to know our beliefs and respecting them as a part of us, but not as us.

We start to see them for what they truly are. We can then choose whether to continue to buy into them or not.
