Show Highlights:
People say it’s the body that needs to lose weight, but really it’s both the mind and the body.
Tip before every meal ask a set of questions: Is this food in alignment with my goals? Will it nourish my body? Will it give me energy? Am I really hungry?
You’re not hungry and there’s a void feeling so we eat something. Watch out for boredom.
Cravings are a need to feel something that’s missing. We think about the future instead of focusing on the moment and enjoying ourselves.
Shift our beliefs and weight: focus on outcome-the weight or the process-food/exercise or identity shift-who you are and who you want to become.
Change language instead of saying I can’t lose weight say: Wow! Why am I so thin? Why am I so fit? Why am I so motivated to exercise?
Listen in for an exercise on how to shift your mindset for thinness.
